Our Sleep Store Washable Wool Underlay

We are super excited about our Sleep Store wool underlay! It’smade fromplush wool pile fleece, with cotton edging and elastic straps to keep it in place.

The luxuriously plush wool fibres of our underlay create a soft and snugly sleeping surface that little ones just love. The natural temperature regulating properties of wool help to keep them warm in winter and cool in summer.

And what makes our wool underlay extra useful it that you can throw it in the washing machine! Underlays and mattress protectors can get icky when they are around children and parents need an underlay that is easy to care for. The light soft fleece dries very quickly.

The 100% pure wool underlay has all the comfort and benefits of a traditional sheepskin with the safety of a lower pile and major advantage of being machine washable.

Temperature regulating natural fibres help to keep your little one just the right temperature all night. We recommend maintaining a room temperature of 18-20°C where possible, to create a comfortable sleep environment. Where this isn’t possible, we recommend the use of natural fibre sleepwear combined with your wool duvet inner.

What does this work well with?

We recommend using our underlay with our Sleep Store jersey mattress protector on top, which gives you breathable waterproof layer that is lovely to sleep on. Then add either a gorgeous Woolbabe sleeping bag or Sleep Store wool duvet.

Age Recommendation

We recommended using withbabies over6 months old (which is beyond the SIDS risk age group when a firm surfacewithout any mattress topper is recommended).
