Our Sleep Store Waterproof Washable Wool Underlay

We are super excited about our Sleep Store waterproof wool underlay! An underlay and mattress protector all in one! It’smade fromplush wool pile fleece, with cotton edging, a waterproof backing to protect your mattress and elastic straps to keep it in place.

The luxuriously plush wool fibres of our underlay create a soft and snugly sleeping surface that little ones just love. The natural temperature regulating properties of wool help to keep them warm in winter and cool in summer.

And what makes our wool underlay extra useful it that you can throw it in the washing machine! Underlays and mattress protectors can get icky when they are around children and parents need an underlay that is easy to care for. Just throw it in the wash with liquid wool wash and then line or low tumble dry. The light soft fleece dries very quickly.

The 100% pure wool underlay has all the comfort and benefits of a traditional sheepskin with the safety of a lower pile and major advantage of being machine washable.

Temperature regulating natural fibres help to keep your little one just the right temperature all night. We recommend maintaining a room temperature of 18-20°C where possible, to create a comfortable sleep environment. Where this isn’t possible, we recommend the use of natural fibre sleepwear combined with your wool duvet inner.

As this is an underlay and mattress protector all in one, you can pop it straight on to the bed, put a sheet on top and you are ready to go!

Age Recommendation

We recommended using withbabies over6 months old (which is beyond the SIDS risk age group when a firm surfacewithout any mattress topper is recommended).
